Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GIS Lead / Senior GIS Specialist with 5 years of experience and a Master’s degree in GIS or a related field. This role is responsible for leading high-impact GIS initiatives, guiding team members, and ensuring the organization effectively leverages spatial data for strategic planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee critical GIS initiatives across the organization

• Ensure optimal utilization and accuracy of geographical data for business insights

• Drive the implementation of advanced GIS tools, techniques, and methodologies

• Collaborate with senior leadership and top-tier stakeholders on GIS-related strategies

• Mentor, train, and guide GIS professionals within the team

• Partner with external GIS experts and consultants on specialized projects

• Ensure GIS strategies, workflows, and outputs align with business objectives

• Support continuous improvement of GIS processes, standards, and data governance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or related field

• 5 years of professional experience in GIS or a closely related discipline

• Deep expertise in GIS systems, data management, and spatial analytics

• Demonstrated ability to lead GIS projects and collaborate cross-functionally

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Ability to translate complex GIS information into actionable business insights
