We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Sterilization Technician / Hygiene Assistant to join our clinical team. This dual-role position is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and an outstanding patient experience.About the RoleThe Sterilization Tech / Hygiene Assistant plays a critical part in maintaining our high standards of infection control, supporting the hygiene department, and assisting with clinical flow throughout the day. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment.ResponsibilitiesSterilization & Infection ControlFollow all OSHA, CDC, and 4M Dental Implant Center sterilization and infection control protocols.Clean, disinfect, bag, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.Conduct routine sterilizer monitoring and maintain accurate logs.Restock operatories, hygiene rooms, and sterilization areas.Manage biohazard waste and maintain a clean, safe back-office environment.Hygiene Assistant SupportAssist the Hygienist during patient care, including room setup and breakdown.Take diagnostic X-rays as directed by the provider.Perform coronal polishing when delegated by the dentist (must hold valid certification).Prepare patients for hygiene treatment and help ensure their comfort throughout their visit.Maintain hygiene operatory cleanliness and supply levels.General Clinical SupportEscort patients to and from treatment rooms.Maintain accurate notes and documentation in the practice management system.Assist with equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.Support clinical staff to ensure an efficient daily schedule and positive patient flow.Requirements:Required QualificationsValid X-Ray Certification (per state requirements).Coronal Polishing Certification.Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in a dental practice (general, specialty, or implant).Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and dental sterilization protocols.Strong communication and customer service skills.Who We’re Looking ForReliable, responsible, and punctual.A positive team player with a strong work ethic.Detail-oriented and able to stay organized.Comfortable working in an implant-focused clinical setting.Why Join 4M Dental Implant Center?Competitive compensation- $23.00 - $27.00 an hour DOEMedical, dental, and vision benefitsGrowth and training opportunitiesSupportive, high-performing team environmentOpportunity to be part of a company that changes patients’ lives every dayEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement4M Dental Implant Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
