Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Athens, TX for a CDL A Truck Driver. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for operating belly dump trucks to transport aggregates locally. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials, and adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining accurate logs and paperwork.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL license for a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience and a clean driving record
- Experience with belly dump trucks and knowledge of aggregate hauling
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal driving regulations
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in trucking or a related field is preferred
