Job Summary: Responsible for supporting analytical services on a regular basis with wet chemistry techniques and instrumental analyses in the chemistry laboratory. Provide quality results in a fast-paced, production environment. Support the quality function in the laboratory.
Key Job Functions:
- Use laboratory instruments such as FTIR, HPLC, HPTLC, ICP-MS, etc. with appropriate training.
- Perform routine and non-routine wet chemistry and physical testing.
- Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Support others on the QC laboratory team.
- Assist in writing and editing SOPs.
- Able to perform non-routine projects with guidance.
- Maintain an efficient, clean and safe work environment following good laboratory practices.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Analytical laboratory experience, 0-5 years or equivalent education.
3. Familiar with manufacturing requirements for 21 CFR 11, 117 and 111.
4. Familiar with ISO 17025 standards.
5. Familiarity with cGXP such as cGLP, cGMP, cGDP
Skills:
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Must be able to work well with others and follow directions.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have excellent communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and able to understand LIMS and Citrix systems
Experience
Required- Less than 5 year(s): Analytical laboratory
- Less than 3 year(s): Familiar with ISO 17025 standards.
- Less than 3 year(s): Familiar with manufacturing requirements for 21 CFR 11, 117 and 111
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Chemistry or related field
