As a material handler, you’ll be assisting distribution center team members by loading, unloading, and moving materials that will ultimately end up in our customers’ hands.
Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
- Effectively interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution of job responsibilities.
- Unload and load LTL trucks for mailings and direct marketing.
- Wrap and weigh each outgoing pallet for mailings and direct marketing orders.
- Assist in staging of products for upcoming mailings.
- Put away all LTL carrier received inventories and shipping boxes.
- Retrieve donation goods from racking as needed and replace unneeded goods.
- Compile damaged embroidery goods and put them away where they belong.
- Restock of any blank inventoried products.
- Pick up and consolidate empty wood pallets.
- Assist in the unloading of import containers.
- Assist in sorting, labeling, and assigning locations of all import goods (fleece, bags, and polo shirts).
- Assemble and adjust pallet and pick shelve racking.
- Assist in cycle counts.
- Assist in keeping all stock locations current and accurate.
- Assist in pulling of customer’s orders held in inventory.
- Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
- Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.

Required education/skills/experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to use manual/electric pallet jack.
- Previous inventory or receiving experience, preferred.
- Prior data entry and computer experience desirable.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
