- Serve as a transportation and network (T&N) design and optimization expert in client engagements.
- Educate and train internal resources in T&N topics
- Responsibility for establishing and improving technical processes in consulting projects, with a focus on T&N topics
- Lead further development of North American T&N product offerings across all business lines and interact with our global practice of experts. Areas of focus will include transportation strategy, transportation software, and transportation management (operating and organization models, process management, digitization, and transformation.)You will be responsible for developing and implementing both company-wide and regional strategies to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives. This includes setting strategic goals, aligning regional initiatives with corporate vision, and monitoring the execution of these strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- You will take an active role in business development, including acquiring new customers and selling to existing customers. You will attend conferences and trade events, conduct follow-up, develop proposals, negotiate and close deals and participate internally in cross-selling opportunities.
- You will be responsible for managing client relationships. You will successfully manage projects by taking on project management responsibilities and successfully achieving project objectives.
- You will lead the development and implementation of supply chain concepts in consulting projects
- You will support the development of 4flow’s North American organization by enhancing workplace culture, driving initiatives to improve employee engagement, setting policies, defining processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- You will lead team members and be responsible for guiding their professional development.
- You will participate in marketing activities such as preparing publications and presentations
- University degree, preferably in business studies (ideally with a major in logistics/SCM) or industrial engineering
- 10 years of professional experience in consulting (including logistics/SCM) or in one of our key industries (with a focus on SCM/logistics)
- 6 years of experience in supply chain consulting, specifically working on projects in T&N design and optimization
- In-depth expertise in the focus area of T&N design and optimization, including knowledge of region-specific details, legislation and influencing factors, transportation management operating models and transformations, and digitization.
- Expertise in transportation software such as TMS and network design.
- Experience developing and managing relationships with clients and selling consulting projects.
- Experience in cascading strategic targets and monitoring execution of goals to ensure objectives are being met.
- Experience leading project teams and direct reports, including performance management and fostering employees’ professional development.
- High level of knowledge and expertise in supply chain management and logistics
- High level of competence in the areas of systematic-analytical skills, process thinking, conceptual skills, creative thinking and problem-solving ability
- Project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with working in an international company and with international clients is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools such as Tableau Desktop or PowerBI
- Knowledge of enterprise software is a plus
