Who You Are:
The 4C Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining relationships with our vendors by ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payment processing. This role requires a combination of technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
AR Administrator
- Review and process vendor invoices in a timely manner meeting payment deadlines
- Ensure proper approvals are received on each vendor invoice
- Prepare vendor checks and prepare positive pay bank reports
- Reconciliation of monthly vendor statements, research and resolve any issues
- Enter credit card purchases and match to purchase orders
- Manage W-9 forms for vendors, prepare yearly 1099 tax forms
- Organize and file vendor documentation
- Identify and resolve any issues with the accounting team
- Complete month-end close tasks
- Track Vendor lien releases and ensure vendor compliance with certificates of insurance
- Assist with annual insurance audits
- Manage inspection, registration, insurance and maintenance for company fleet vehicles
Skills and qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years in an accounts payable role
- Construction or project accounting experience preferred
Technical Skills:
- QuickBooks proficiency preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to resolve issues and discrepancies independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to accurate record keeping and meeting deadlines
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
