Responsibilities
- Supervise and support clients throughout their recovery journey, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and behavioral expectations
- Conduct intake assessments to gather client histories, identify needs, and develop personalized care strategies
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with prescribed protocols, maintaining accurate records
- Implement behavioral health and behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and conflict resolution
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating situations with calm professionalism and quick thinking
- Support clients with childcare needs when applicable, creating a nurturing environment that fosters stability
- Maintain detailed data collection, entry, filing, and documentation for case management purposes
- Monitor client activities for security purposes, ensuring a safe environment for all individuals on site
- Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care plans
- Conduct regular safety checks, administer first aid if needed, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Experience
- Supervising experience in a healthcare or social services setting preferred
- Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage challenging situations effectively
- Experience working with children or in childcare environments is a plus
- Knowledge of security protocols relevant to behavioral health facilities or community care settings
- Background in addiction counseling or behavioral health services highly desirable
- Proven conflict management skills coupled with excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs or home & community care experience is advantageous
- Competence in data entry, medication administration, filing, and data collection practices necessary for case management tasks
