Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
40 hours per week guaranteed. Occasional overtime during busy periods.
What You’ll Do
Our Bindery Operators help turn printed pages into finished books by operating bindery and finishing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will:
- Set up and operate bindery machines or trimming equipment
- Load paper into machines and remove finished books
- Inspect work and follow quality control procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Communicate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Operate pallet jacks to move materials as needed
- Assist with book finishing processes including:
- Cutting covers
- Laminating
- Collating pages
- Spiral coil binding
- 3-knife trimming
- Book edge printing
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication skills
- Strong reliability and excellent attendance
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
- Bindery or printing experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
- Standing for long periods
- Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Pushing/pulling carts or palletized loads
- Reaching, twisting, and gripping paper stock
