Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and special dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling and beverage stations
• Assist in food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Build strong guest relations by providing excellent customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing memorable customer experiences
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
