Head of Finance, US CVRM Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of finance? As the Head of Finance for the US Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) portfolio, you'll report directly to the US Biopharmaceutical Business Unit (BBU) CFO and take charge of finance business partnering. Your role will be pivotal in providing high-quality financial management services, offering critical input into strategic and operational business decisions. Collaborate with CVRM portfolio brand leads to drive financial commitments and provide leadership in financial reporting, compliance, forecasts, resource optimization, and business investment opportunities. Join us in shaping the future of finance! Accountabilities Act as a strategic partner to the Therapeutic Area VP, brand leads, and leadership team members on key business decisions. Manage portfolio P&L forecasts and budget performance for multiple brands and major alliances. Provide financial analysis, expense & performance management, and monitor financial goals. Drive the delivery of a consistent Strategic Planning Cycle to enhance financial performance. Lead financial analysis on investments and marketing initiatives, fostering a value-driven mindset. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes to achieve targets. Ensure financial budget ownership across the team and provide necessary training. Prepare presentations for senior management on performance management and forecasts. Drive continuous process improvement and innovation in anticipation of portfolio growth. Ensure compliance with SOX 404 and sound financial principles. Develop and coach finance directors & managers for career success. Contribute to the overall financial success of the US BBU as a member of the US BBU Finance Leadership Team. Skills and Capabilities: Excellent technical skills and experience including Hyperion Planning, SAP, Excel and PowerPoint Strong analytical ability and demonstrated strategic influencing skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, including oral and written Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork Demonstrated ability to successfully work as a change agent in a dynamic work environment Confidence in working with Senior Management High degree of accuracy with attention to detail Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple and frequently changing priorities Demonstrated capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency Essential Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Ten years diversified financial experience, or related business area including five in the pharmaceutical industry Experience in a brand leadership role and/or dealing with senior management Knowledge of US operating model Desirable Skills/Experience MBA in Finance and/or public accounting background Brand knowledge and experience Demonstrated strong upward career trajectory, with drive, ambition, and demonstrated sound judgment.
