Accountabilities: As an Asset Lead, Oncology Outcomes Research (O2R) Group Director, you will lead a team of scientists to develop and implement health outcomes and real-world strategies on a global and US market level. You will strategically communicate with diverse internal and external partners, focusing on quantifying and communicating the value proposition of AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio. Your role includes developing and overseeing research plans for assets, participating in key internal review meetings, and managing a team of outcomes researchers to deliver impactful results. Essential Skills/Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience within or supporting the pharma industry Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science related field Proven ability with a track record of success in delivering epidemiologic, health outcomes, or health economics studies? Expert knowledge and application of epidemiological/health outcomes methodology within pharmaceutical industry at an international level In-depth expertise with research methods for real world research, HEOR projects including pharmacoepidemiologic models Scientific expertise in oncology with knowledge of different data sources Travel-up to 25% Desirable Skills/Experience: Graduate degree (MS, MPH, PhD) in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research and/or related fields Demonstrated expertise in analytical, judgment and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills Proven ability with a track record of success in developing and leading teams Capable of managing budgets and resources, and shifting priorities in a rapidly changing environment The annual base pay for this position ranges from $188,732.80 - 283,099.20 USD. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
