CNC Turning Center Programmer / Setup / Operator – Immediate Opening
425 Manufacturing in Rockford, IL is looking for an experienced CNC Turning Center Programmer / Setup / Operator to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of complete G-code programming experience — not just making small edits at the machine. You must be confident programming directly at the control, and CAD/CAM programming experience is a plus. We currently use SolidWorks for design and Fusion 360 for programming.
Our turning department runs on late-model Haas equipment, including:
- (1) Haas ST-10
- (1) Haas SL-30
- (1) Haas SL-30
- (1) Haas ST-40 Big Bore
We also operate eight Haas machining centers in our milling department.
This position will help oversee and keep our CNC lathe department running efficiently. (Note: there is another setup/operator already working in this area.)

We do a lot of short-run, high-mix production, so you’ll be doing real programming and setup work daily — not just pushing buttons.
Schedule:
1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (occasional Saturdays)
