Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail sales team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop staff through training & development initiatives, coaching on customer service, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
- New employee orientation and training.
- Handle employee scheduling to ensure efficient store performance.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory management, and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial communication.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math is essential.
- Knowledge of retail product lines such as shoes, clothing is preferred but willilng to train; familiarity with merchandising is a plus.
- Organizational skills coupled with time management expertise to handle shift management efficiently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service.
