41 North Coffee Co in Wendell, NC is looking for one cook/chef to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 41 N Main St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. Clean and organized. Able to work independently and as part of a team. We are a small family business looking to continue to grow our kitchen.ResponsibilitiesWork as a team player to complete assigned daily tasksAbility to be a self motivated individual adding value to the teamFollow prep lists and recipes accuratelyAbility to work safely and efficiently while performing knife tasksDaily setting up/breakdown/cleanliness of station and respected kitchen areasKnowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleanliness .Breaking down and deep cleaning of kichen equipment including the hoodProper labeling/storing/dating of all food items in all areas of the restaurantOversees their designated station and holds responsibility for all items produced.Collaborates with fellow BOH staff to ensure the food quality and standards are met assuring consistency across the boardCommunicate with FOH to endure food is up to standards and being served hot.Great communication and ability to keep people informed of suppliesPerforms other duties assigned by supervisor/managersAttention to detail and pride in the food you put out.RequirementsAbility to work organized and individually run the stationAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to take direction concisely and thoughtfullyAbility to work midday/evening/weekend shiftsAbility to follow uniform rules and to be clean for every shiftPhysical RequirementsMust be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hoursMust be able to move, pull or lift at least 50 poundsBy applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
