Agricultural Mechanic

Job Summary

405 Tractor is looking for a dependable, motivated Agricultural Mechanic to join our service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining tractors, UTVs, skid steers, mini excavators, and other agricultural and construction equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filters, inspections, and preventative service.
• Assemble and prepare new equipment for delivery.
• Install accessories and attachments on tractors and equipment.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation after repairs.
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with the service manager regarding repair status and parts needs.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing 405 Tractor

Requirements

• Experience working on tractors, diesel engines, agricultural equipment, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
