Job Summary:

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for working as a team member alongside 1/2 laborers. The Foreman is responsible for executing and completing construction landscape installation jobs in an efficient and timely manner, promote job worksite safety, provide excellent customer service, and exhibit pride, quality and workmanship.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 50 pounds of material or equipment.

2. Ability to stand, kneel and/or bend for a long period of time.

3. Ability to withstand exposure to outside weather conditions: humidity, rain, hot and cold temperatures.

4. Ability to see with or without corrective aids.

Job Requirements:

1. 5 years Landscape experience required; need to have resume with references.

2. Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, may include weekends and holidays.

(weather permitting)

3. Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

4. Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.

5. Must be professional in appearance and actions.

6. Maintain good attendance record as well as good punctuality.

(No call no shows/Multiple calls in will not be tolerated)

7. Understand and adheres to company and safety polices, proper lifting techniques, wearing PPE on jobsites and heat stress.

8. Must be able to properly, efficiently, and safely work with landscaping hand tools and gas/diesel powered equipment.

9. Must be able to read scaled landscape construction plans, detail notes and specifications.

10. Must be able to identify commonly used plants, trees and landscape/hardscape materials in the area.

11. Must pass a criminal background check.

12. Must have and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license to drive for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead, direct and work along side 1/2 person crew member activities and work sequencing.

2. Complete work efficiently and on time.

3. Communicate equipment, labor and material requests.

4. Safely inspect and operate small engine powered landscaping equipment.

5. Identify utility location at job sites before digging.

6. Follow all direct orders given to you.

7. Work as part of a team.

8. Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Experience in retaining walls, paver installation, drainage, fencing, and sod installation PREFFERED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
