Education Qualifications: Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or nationally accredited education facility and documented proficiency in all required competencies of a polysomnographic technician. OR If no education then must have 1 year of experience as a sleep lab tech and must complete education requirements within 1 year of hire or transfer. You will be responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing performed on pediatrics through adults. Responsibilities include: • Patient screening and scheduling by phone, • Perform polysomnograms, • Perform patient education during and after patient admission, • Participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians, and • Arrange the prescribed patient home therapy. Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday, 7p – 7:30a. Two shifts per week. May be asked to work a third shift if needed. Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Central Market: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent within 1 year of hire or transfer.
