Safe Exchange and Parenting Time (SEPT) Visit Program Manager
Up to 30 hrs/week
Reports to 4 The Children Executive Director
Summary of Position:
SEPT Program Director is responsible for overseeing the SEPT Program. This position involves the use of diplomacy and people skills to interact with various parties, such as program staff, volunteers, clientele, children, the Courts, attorneys, department of human services, mental health providers, child and family investigators, collaborative agencies, etc. The position is responsible for maintaining the smooth daily operations of the program through the utilization of, and interaction with program staff, clients (children and parents), and volunteers. This position is also responsible for daily invoicing and other financial responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in day-to-day program operations to include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Participates in training to include 24 hours of Supervised Visitation Network Certificate Training and 16 hours Program Management Training within the first 12 months of employment
- Volunteer Recruitment.
- Provide support and oversight to SEPT staff and volunteers.
- Manage interactions with families from intake to case closure. The Program Manager is the main contact for clients during the course of their case at 4 The Children.
- Responsible for creating invoices, sliding scale placements, and sliding scale reimbursements.
- Provide supervised parenting time supervision and safe exchanges.
- Maintains communication with referral sources to include the Courts, DHS, Attorneys and other related agencies and individuals as requested.
- Represents the work of SEPT and CASA at fundraising and community events as requested.

- Provides support on any projects the Executive Director requests.
- Manages Family Friendly Court Grant.
- Completes grant proposals as necessary.
- Oversees high school and college interns.
- Attends committee meetings when requested by the Executive Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Time Requirements:
- Completion of projects in a timely manner.
- Weeknight & Weekend commitments are typical of this position.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of management experience required
- Office and computer skills, including QuickBooks experience, program data tracking, and analysis
- Program development and volunteer management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree. Or the equivalent applicable experience in social work, family and human development, human services, volunteer management (these are a bonus, but not required).
- Enjoys working with children
- Bilingual preferred.
