Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, coordinating resources, escalating issues to the appropriate support specialty, and maintaining IT assets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, configures, and maintains desktop & laptop PCs, tablets, and peripherals such as printers, and other relevant office equipment.
Creates users and manages account accesses.
Analyzes & implements security measure for computer/information systems.
Responds to telephone calls, emails, and personnel request for IT tech support.
Documents, tracks, & monitors IT issues thoroughly & accurately to ensure timely responses.
Identifies, researches, analyzes, & resolves employee technical computer related issues.
Escalates, both accurately & timely, problems requiring on-site hardware or configuration changes.
Installs computer software for users as needed.
Tests computer hardware and software performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or other related field preferred, Bachelors in same a plus
1 or more years of computer experience, and/or technical support preferred, with strong emphasis on customer service.
Good working knowledge of IT Applications in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and desktop software/operating systems needed.
Basic knowledge of desktop hardware & network connectivity.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Should be multi-tasker, with excellent deductive reasoning & troubleshooting skills.
Must possess self-direction abilities, but also be able to function well in a teamwork style work atmosphere.
Should be able to prioritize tasks to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Ability to be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis with other team members.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, Day Shift, 8am – 5pm; with on call hours, as required.

Working Conditions:
