The Remodeling Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a residential remodeling crew. This role works hands-on in the field while managing labor, quality, scheduling, and coordination with project management. The Crew Lead ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a remodeling crew on residential and commercial projects
Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly
Perform hands-on remodeling work (framing, drywall, trim, installs, etc.)
Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization
Read plans and scopes of work and execute them accurately
Coordinate with Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and subcontractors
Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity
Identify issues in the field and proactively solve problems
Ensure workmanship meets company quality standards
Qualifications:
Strong experience in residential remodeling or construction
Proven ability to lead and manage a crew
Broad trade knowledge (carpentry, demo, basic plumbing/electrical, finishes)
Good communication and leadership skills
Ability to keep projects moving and crews accountable
Reliable transportation and tools
