Initial Talent Acquisition Lead (Go-To-Market)
Location: South of Market - San Francisco, CA (Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office)
Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000 Base Salary Equity

A rapidly growing AI data platform backed by top-tier venture capital is seeking a high-impact recruiting lead to drive Go-To-Market (GTM) talent acquisition. Partnering directly with executive leadership, you will operate as a hands-on individual contributor to build and scale revenue, field, and growth functions across sales, technical solutions, partnerships, and marketing.
Core Responsibilities
End-to-End Search Management: Direct full-lifecycle, in-house hiring across revenue and customer-facing organizations (Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, BD, and Marketing).
- Executive Partnership & Calibration: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and company executives to define role requirements, establish performance baselines, and execute targeted market mapping.
- Pipeline Development & Closing: Proactively source, engage, and convert high-caliber passive talent through direct outreach, networking, and referral systems.
- Recruiting Operations: Own candidate experience, monitor pipeline metrics, resolve conversion bottlenecks, and implement scalable hiring processes.
Must-Haves
- In-House Full-Cycle Experience: Proven track record running full-lifecycle recruitment within an internal talent team.
- Dedicated GTM Focus: 2 years specifically sourcing and hiring across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Business Development, and customer-facing functions.
- Startup Agility: Background recruiting inside fast-paced, high-growth startups (ideally Series A–D).
- Passive Sourcing & Closing: Skilled at identifying, attracting, and converting non-active candidates in highly competitive tech hubs.
- Executive Collaboration: Extensive experience partnering directly with hiring managers and C-suite leadership on role scope and candidate evaluation.
- Hands-On IC Mindset: Proactive, high-ownership execution style without relying on heavy corporate structure or external support.
- Assessment & Calibration: Sharp intuition for evaluating both commercial producers and technical GTM profiles against rigorous hiring bars.
