Required Qualifications:
- Strong project management experience with successful delivery of complex initiatives.
- Experience with healthcare informatics, public health programs, or health information systems.
- Knowledge of interoperability standards, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare data exchange.
- Experience with data analysis, data quality improvement, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience with public health surveillance systems and epidemiology programs.
- Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, healthcare interoperability frameworks, and data modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Familiarity with CDC, APHL, CSTE, or other public health organizations.
- Experience with strategic planning, workforce development, and change management initiatives.
- Lead and manage public health informatics projects from initiation through implementation.
- Conduct assessments of health information systems, data processes, and interoperability initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, process maps, standard operating procedures, and strategic roadmaps.
- Support data modernization efforts and implementation of industry data standards.
