Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise relational database environments to support business applications.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure database availability, integrity, and security.
- Develop database designs, technical documentation, and support application development, integration, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database solutions following SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education |
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |

Experience |
8 years of experience in database administration, database design, performance tuning, and enterprise application support using Oracle, SQL Server, or similar relational databases. |

Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Relational Database Administration, Database Performance Tuning, Database Design, Azure SQL, ETL, Git |

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure SQL, ETL processes, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise database architectures.
- Azure or Database Administration certifications are preferred.
