Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer User Support Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Administer, configure, and maintain Jira workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, field configurations, permission schemes, notification schemes, dashboards, filters, and automation rules to support development, testing, defect tracking, and release activities.

Maintain requirements traceability processes and traceability matrixes (RTMs), supporting end-to-end alignment among business requirements, test cases, design documents, defects, and software releases.

Prepare and distribute batch release notes and other release communications using Jira data, ensuring changes are documented clearly and stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates.

Manage user access, roles, groups, and permissions; troubleshoot configuration, workflow, integration, and access issues; and develop user guides, standard operating procedures, process flows, training materials, and reference documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience administering and configuring Jira to support software development, QA, defect management, requirements traceability, and release management. Experience troubleshooting Jira configurations, preparing release communications, managing user permissions, and developing end-user documentation and training materials.
