Description POSITION TITLE: Cafeteria/Playground Assistant
REPORTS TO: Building Principal - 4th and 5th Grade Center
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2.5 hours per day/5 days a week, during the school year (must be able to work the entire schedule)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HIgh School Diploma/GED
- Experience with children.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
- Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise and monitor students in the cafeteria and surrounding areas
• Establish and maintain a safe and cooperative attitude in the cafeteria
• Understand and enforce the cafeteria rules and procedures
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal
PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:
• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
