What You Will Do
Responsibilities
As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead and support production teams to ensure safe operations, quality outcomes, and efficient workflow. Key responsibilities include:
Supervise all production activities, including maintenance and construction tasks within the unit. Enforce all Safety & Health, Company Policies, and Quality System Procedures. Ensure batch sheets, documentation, checklists, and production reports are completed accurately. Maintain production schedules by meeting equipment cycle times and responding to operational changes. Oversee waste handling, permit completion, LOTO, confined space coordination, and other critical safety processes. Perform operator training, testing, and continuous skill development for personnel. Lead weekly safety meetings using toolbox topics and reinforce safe work habits. Monitor SPC/SQC data, troubleshoot quality or productivity issues, and react to deviations. Review JDE entries for accuracy, submit work orders, and coordinate maintenance needs. Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure the program is followed and documented. Prepare shift handoff reports and communicate plant status to incoming shifts. Support process improvements, productivity targets, and out-of-spec reduction goals (Prepare disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans as needed. Collaborate closely with the Unit Manager and cross-functional departments.

- Associate degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- 1–2 years of leadership experience in a production or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret safety procedures, technical instructions, and operational documentation.
- Familiarity with computers and experience using production reporting systems.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical or process-related issues quickly and safely.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during fast-paced operations.
- This position is based at our manufacturing facility in Georgetown, South Carolina. Local candidates or those able to reliably commute are encouraged to apply. Schedule is a Rotating Swing Shift on a 5day or 7day pattern
