Job Title: Contract Media Manager
Location: Conshohocken, PA
Project Duration: Up to 12 months, with the possibility of a mutually agreed-upon renewal. Renewal is not guaranteed and does not create an expectation of continued project.
Contract Terms & Compensation
The League Lacrosse Events is a partnership between five of the premium clubs in the country will provide high level, best-in-class tournaments and recruiting events to elite players nationwide. Founded by Mad Dog Lacrosse, Next Level Lacrosse, 3d New England, Building Blocks Lacrosse and Sweetlax, the league will provide allied partners and clubs in the industry access to tournaments and showcases they would not otherwise have access to.
Contract Project Scope
The Alliance Lacrosse League is looking for a Media Manager to run content for the league and its events. You'll split your time between creating content yourself and leading the media operation on-site: managing freelance shooters, editors, and partner media groups so every event is covered, and the content goes out fast.
Why This Project
This is a way for you to get your foot in the sports media door with a strong brand, build your network, and grow your portfolio across more of the sport. Your job is to carry it forward and build on it with fresh ideas, new formats, and content that keeps fans coming back between events. You'll also lead the crew at our two biggest events of the year. Most people don't get to run their own crew this early in their career.
What You’ll Do
Event Season (Summer and Fall):
Plan coverage, staff and lead the on-site crew, shoot and edit, and publish content in real time. Build hype beforehand and deliver recaps, highlight reels, and sponsor content afterward.
Off-Season
Keep the brand relevant with creative, low-cost content, such as player and team previews, rankings, throwback highlights, "where are they now" features, and new edits of past event footage. You'll also have the option to pick up paid freelance shoots at other events.

- Requires flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and travel to our sites and events
- Payment Schedule - $3,000 - $3,300 per month (varies based on experience)
- Travel expenses covered for event assignment
- ALL gear and apparel allowance

- Shoot and edit photo and video at league events: highlights, reels/TikToks, behind-the-scenes footage, and athlete interviews
- Design graphics for social and events, including event & player commitment graphics, schedules, player features, rankings, and sponsor posts
- Plan and staff media coverage for each event, including booking and managing freelancers and partner organizations
- Run the post-production workflow so content is delivered on time
- Plan, write and publish daily content across ALL social channels, and use analytics to grow the audience
- Build an off-season content plan that repurposes event footage and keeps fans engaged between events
- Write league announcements and press releases, and be the main contact for outside media and credential requests at events
- Keep a central library of photos, video, and logos organized for league and team use
- Deliver sponsor content with the marketing and partnerships team
- 1–2 years of experience in sports media, content production, or social media
- Internships, college athletics, and student media all count, and lacrosse experience is a big plus
- A portfolio of photo/video work you shot and edited
- Strong photo and video skills: you can shoot and edit both
- Graphic design skills, with working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator (After Effects is a plus)
- Experience shooting live events. Coordinating other shooters or a student crew is a plus
- Strong writing for social and sports audiences
- Able to work within an established brand identity while bringing new ideas
- Availability for travel and long days around the July and November events, plus some evening and weekend posting
