Role Description The Electrician will perform day-to-day electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment for oil field and related industrial projects. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, performing wiring and panel work, and conducting inspections to ensure systems meet safety and regulatory standards. The role requires diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting faults, and coordinating with project managers and other technicians to support efficient, safe operations. This is a full-time remote role, with work performed at customer locations and project sites as required, while administrative and coordination tasks may be completed remotely.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of electricity principles and electrical safety practices, with the ability to apply them in field conditions.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system configuration in industrial or oil field environments.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair activities for electrical equipment and systems, including routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently, minimizing downtime and safety risks.
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to field applications and project execution.
- Relevant technical certification or journeyperson-level qualification; state licensing as an electrician is preferred.
- Ability to work safely in demanding environments, follow company safety programs, and comply with all regulatory standards.
- Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams and onsite crews.
