Youth Pickleball Coordinator
Location: Wheat Ridge, CO
Schedule: Part-time (afternoons, evenings, some weekends)
Pay: $18-$20/hr depending on exp/avail
About the Role
The Youth Pickleball Coordinator is the ringleader of our junior pickleball programs—part coach, part organizer, part hype person. You'll be responsible for creating a positive, structured, and fun environment where kids learn the game, build confidence, and maybe beat their parents sooner than expected.
What You'll Do
- Plan and run youth pickleball programs, clinics, camps, and leagues
- Teach fundamentals, rules, and sportsmanship to kids of varying ages and skill levels
- Manage on-court instruction, drills, and game play
- Communicate with parents about schedules, progress, and expectations
- Assist with program registration, attendance tracking, and logistics
- Help recruit and supervise assistant coaches when needed
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Support special youth events and community outreach efforts

- You have strong communication and organization skills
- You're reliable, upbeat, and comfortable leading groups
- You understand pickleball rules and basic coaching principles
- You can manage multiple age groups and skill levels without losing your cool

Qualifications
- Experience coaching or working with youth (sports, camps, education, etc.)
- Pickleball playing or coaching experience preferred (but not required if you're willing to learn fast)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
