Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects on-site. This pivotal role involves managing teams, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Duties
- Lead and supervise concrete crews, managing daily operations to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide team activities and verify accuracy against project specifications.
- Coordinate construction schedules.
- Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review construction drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with design intent and contractual requirements.
- Oversee quality control
- Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in resedential and commercial construction projects
- Extensive construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations essential for maintaining compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients.
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to project scope, schedule, and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of construction scheduling
- Valid certifications in construction safety (OSHA) preferred; additional certifications such as management or supervisory training are advantageous.
