What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Production Manager position at 3Q Investments LLC?
Vertical Converting, Inc. is looking for a production manager to oversee the manufacturing process and coordinate activities to ensure enough resources are on hand and products are produced on time. The production manager is also responsible for motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff. This is a full-time weekend position, Friday – Sunday position reporting to the Operations Manager. This position is located at Vertical Converting Inc dba /Sierra Hygiene Products in Frostburg and Cumberland, MD and is responsible for covering both locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all production and logistics activities in the plants.
- Develop and coach supervisors to successfully lead their teams.
- Monitor performance and develop and implement recommendations and action plans for improvements in efficiencies, quality, and safety.
- Lead daily production meetings to ensure optimum material, resources, staffing and workflow.
- Lead, direct and manage all safety initiatives in the plant, ensuring company and all regulatory policies are strictly maintained.
- Lead with consistency and accountability, setting expectations and providing follow-up.
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
