Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend 2nd Shift

Vertical Converting dba Sierra Hygiene Products is looking for an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic to work the weekend 2nd shift. The hours are Friday - Sunday from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am.  Vertical Converting is a paper converting manufacturer located in Frostburg and Cumberland, MD.  This position is for the Frostburg plant. 

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Complete regular preventive maintenance functions, observations, and inspections on production equipment.
  • Machine repair and troubleshooting
  • Asset Management – regularly review, order and adjust spare parts inventory
  • Assist operations at times, with changeovers and equipment operations
  • Work flexible hours as needed
