The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The ideal candidate will independently analyze complex supply chain datasets, create impactful dashboards, and deliver insights that support data driven decision-making across the enterprise supply chain organization. As a Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Implement solutions by extracting cleaning and validating data from multiple sources utilizing SQL and AI-assisted workflows. Conduct advanced analysis- Collecting, processing, and modelling data to obtain valuable insights and inform strategic decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and translate business requirements into data solutions. Utilize AI tools to accelerate data processing, Python script generation, and the analysis of complex supply chain datasets. Present insights and recommendations to functional stakeholders. Build and maintain scalable data models and Support improvements in data quality, governance, and process automation. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start). Overall, 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in data extraction and analysis and statistical analysis and analytical techniques. 3 years’ experience in SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau etc Working knowledge of Python, coupled with a strong, demonstrated ability to leverage AI development tools (e.g., LLMs, coding copilots) to write code, debug, and execute data analysis efficiently. Strong understanding of data modelling and relational databases and strong communication and presentation skills Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Connected and optimized Snowflake data sources with BI platforms. Wrote highly complex, performant SQL queries (window functions, CTEs) in Snowflake to uncover business trends. Designed and implemented efficient data storage strategies within Snowflake using clustering keys, materialized views, and search optimization services.
