What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator I position at 3form Branding?
3form is the leading manufacturer of award‐winning, sustainable building materials and architectural hardware solutions for the Architecture Design industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Core A D Estimating:
- Completes and distributes material and solution quotations as identified via the RFQ system in the my3form CRM tool.
- Ensures quotations contain complete bill of materials cut lists to fulfill project requirements
- Reviews incoming RFQs for completeness and contacts Material Consultants and / or customers directly for missing information
- Completes and distributes Certified Installer Partner quotes.
- Is the main internal point of contact for questions regarding the quote for the Materials Consultants, Specifiers and Contractors during the bidding stage.
- Makes clear notes regarding exceptions, assumptions and project submittal requirements.
Project Management and Execution:
- Supports Project Coordinators and Project Managers in the execution of orders.
- Works with Technical Support to ensure solution requirements are communicated to the installation team.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, design and fabrication drawings is preferred.
- Can read and write fluently in English.
- Intermediate Level – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Outlook, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
- Desirable but not required: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar CAD experience
Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, estimating, or other relevant work.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a bonus.
