Customer Success Engineer – Additive Manufacturing (On-site)

3DGence is a global manufacturer of high-performance Industrial 3D printing production systems, experiencing rapid growth in the Additive Manufacturing industry. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and operate the 3DGence products, identify, and assist clients with their applications and optimization of 3DGence technology
- Document findings, ensuring that 3DGence's support knowledge base is utilized and maintained effectively
- Top priority is making the customer feel understood, appreciated and demonstrate a sense of urgency in providing and/or recommending engineer-minded solutions to current and potential clients
- Autonomously follow-up with clients to nurture and maintain positive relationships
- Work collaboratively as a team to develop and improve technical processes and solutions
- On-site installations for Industrial 3D Printing Solutions at our customer locations.
- Use and help build the 3DGence's support knowledge base to engage prospective customers and make our current customers more successful.
- Participate in R&D and innovation projects as required.
- Travel time up to 25%.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MSc, BSc).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Technical Support or Application Engineer role, with involvement and understanding of technical support with complex or industrial products preferred
- 1 year of customer support experience preferred
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc, MSc, or related field) or equivalent work experience required
- Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing/CNC Engineering background and interest is a major asset
- Strong communication skills. Proactive, creative thinker with a proven ability to follow-up with solutions
- Experience providing top-tier customer engagement is a plus
- Hands-on Engineering mindset
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing/CNC Engineering background and interest
- Experience in providing top-tier customer engagement or technical support in a professional environment.
