Senior NPI Program Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Senior NPI Program Manager to lead complex hardware programs within our Supply Chain Operations – Plastics Hardware business unit. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring operational readiness across supply chain functions—Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics—as new products move from concept to production and through sustaining.

You’ll collaborate closely with R&D Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and external manufacturing partners to drive alignment, identify and mitigate risks, and lead your programs to successful execution. A strong blend of technical acumen, operational insight, and leadership ability is essential.

This is a full-time temporary onsite position requiring daily collaboration with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and product teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end NPI program execution across hardware product lines—from early-stage development to production ramp and lifecycle support.
• Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of new products into operations.
• Own and manage detailed project schedules, program deliverables, and risk mitigation plans across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, ensuring BOMs (Product and FRU), packaging, configuration structures, and supply chain systems are set up correctly in Agile PLM and Oracle ERP.
• Guide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and operational feedback upstream, influencing product architecture for cost, quality, and scalability.
• Lead build planning and execution for NPI development builds, and support Manufacturing Validation testing (MVT) with appropriate KPIs.
• Act as a primary liaison between Supply Chain and cross-functional project stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and removing roadblocks.
• Manage communications and escalations across all levels of the organization, including executive reporting and stakeholder presentations.
• Provide structure and clarity to projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, facilitating Scrum ceremonies where applicable.
• Champion continuous improvement across processes, tools, and team collaboration.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of operations program management experience, ideally in hardware or electro-mechanical product environments.
• 5 years of experience in applied engineering and supply chain integration.
• PMP Certification and Six Sigma training are preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to drive alignment across cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, line layout, takt time, lean principles, and flow production.
• Deep understanding of how material flows through the supply chain from order to final product delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills using structured methodologies and root cause analysis.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
• High level of organizational planning, prioritization, and resource management capability.
• Ability to lead with influence, initiative, and strategic thinking.
• Comfortable managing multiple complex programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
