What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Assistant/Operator position at 3D Machine, Inc.?
3D Machine, Inc. is in search of a Quality Control (QC) Assistant/Operator to join our team. The Quality Assistant ensures that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with ISO 9001 Standard and customer’s specifications. This team member is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with the organization’s quality assurance policies in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Product Inspection: Conduct visual, physical, and functional checks of raw materials, in-progress goods, and final products to spot defects. ·
- Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately log test results, measurements, and non-conforming items into computer systems or physical logs. ·
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks and calibrations on measuring and testing equipment to ensure accurate readings.·
- Process Monitoring: Ensure the manufacturing or packaging floor strictly follows safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines ·
- Issue Reporting: Escalate major defects or deviations to the Quality Control Manager or supervisor and assist in root-cause investigations.
Qualifications·
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent·
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk production floors, and occasionally lift heavy items.·
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying flaws, mislabeling, or inconsistencies in products.
- Must complete a pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Check.
