Role Description
This is a full-time position that requires travel in the eastern United States. The Core Driller will operate and maintain drilling equipment to extract core samples for examination. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, following safety protocols, ensuring drilling accuracy, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. The role may also involve working in various environmental and field conditions requiring physical effort.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and drilling machinery
- Experience in core drilling. Will be operating LF90s or LY44s
- Knowledge of inspection procedures to maintain equipment and ensure operational safety
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adapt to varied work environments
- Relevant certifications in drilling operations and equipment handling are advantageous
