Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, and other machinery as required.
- Perform horizontal drilling and other specialized tasks to support construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
- Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, grading land, and digging trenches as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues to supervisors.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, and graders.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to building, paving, and excavation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
- A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications for specific equipment operation are a plus.
