Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Duties
- Supervise and monitor children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement educational activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care programs
- Provide hands-on caregiving including feeding, diapering, and assisting with toilet training
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in childcare, daycare settings, or related roles such as babysitting, nannying, or teaching young children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a nurturing setting
- Reliable, patient, attentive, and organized with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
