Role: Senior Workday Product Administrator
Location: Deerfield Beach FL (Hybrid - 3 Days a week onsite)
Contract: 6 Months Contract
Requirement:
• 3–5 years of hands-on Workday configuration, support and
administration experience in Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Security and HCM
Core.
• Proficiency with Workday tools and technologies such as
Report Writer, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Customer Central Object
Transporter.
• Experience working in an Agile product model: backlog
refinement, user stories, iterative delivery, and participation in ceremonies
• Strong consultative and communication skills: ability to
articulate complex topics to varied audiences and influence decisions through
data and options.
• Demonstrated ability to align technology work to business
priorities and product roadmaps; effective planning, risk monitoring, and
mitigation in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when
handling sensitive HR data.
• Workday training and certifications preferred.
Role Overview
The primary focus of this position is to provide expert
technical administration and product-oriented support for Workday, JM Family’s
Human Capital Management (HCM) system. In this role, you will act as a Sr.
Workday Product Administrator and a trusted consultative partner to HR Centers
of Excellence (COEs), IT, and business leaders. You will operate within an
Agile, product-centric delivery model —helping teams continuously deliver
measurable value through iterative enhancements, stable operations, and disciplined
release execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide ongoing
design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday, ensuring
stability, usability, and scalability.
· Serve as the senior
product administrator for Workday HCM, setting configuration standards, driving
governance, and collaborating with the product team.
· Work as an embedded
member of a cross-functional Workday product team in an Agile product model,
contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and
retrospectives.
· Partner with the
Product Owner/Product Manager and HR COEs to translate business needs into
well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized product
backlog that maximizes value realization.
· Execute and govern
mass data uploads and changes using EIBs (including quality checks, controls,
and auditability).
· Provide Tier 2/3
support: triage incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate resolution,
and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
· Drive automation and
reduction of manual processes; identify technical debt and improvement
opportunities and deliver solutions iteratively.
· Own release readiness
for Workday updates and feature deployments: plan, test, validate, coordinate
cutover, and support to ensure high-quality outcomes.
· Ensure timely and
accurate documentation: system functionality, business process configuration,
security design, data flows/integrations, and troubleshooting guides.
· Evaluate feasibility
of modifications/enhancements, balancing risk, dependencies, compliance, and
value; advise on options and recommended approaches.
· Ensure adherence to
defined technical standards, security, and data privacy requirements; maintain
role-based access and security administration best practices.
· Stay current on
Workday capabilities, releases, and best practices; bring recommendations that
improve associate experience and operational efficiency.
