Role: Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Mechanicsville, VA (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance VDOT's Azure cloud environment.
8 years of experience with:
- Microsoft Azure infrastructure, networking & security
- Azure cloud migrations from on-prem environments
- Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and mission-critical enterprise systems
- Azure Monitor, dashboards, alerting & observability
- Vulnerability remediation and security initiatives
Preferred Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect
Network / CCNA
