· Senior Engineer, Software plays a critical role
in the development and enhancement of mobile applications across iOS, Android,
and hybrid platforms. This position is responsible for designing, building, and
maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions while ensuring
alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.
· Senior Engineer, Software is able to take
business requirement all the way to a project delivery. Actively contributes to
technical architecture decisions, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and
drives the implementation of mobile features and functionalities. This role
requires deep expertise in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development,
as well as experience with hybrid frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
As part of the development team, the Senior Engineer, Software provides
mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of
continuous learning and innovation. The role also involves troubleshooting and
optimizing mobile applications to enhance user experience and maintain
operational efficiency.
· Collaboration is a key aspect of this role,
requiring close interaction with product managers, designers, backend
developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. The Senior
Engineer, Software works within Agile development frameworks, ensuring timely
delivery of features while maintaining software excellence.
· This position requires strong problem-solving

staying updated with emerging mobile technologies. The Senior Engineer,
Software plays a crucial role in ensuring that mobile applications support the

Importance
Major Actions and Supporting Actions:
1. Design & Architecture: Lead the design and development of mobile
application architectures, ensuring the selection of appropriate frameworks,
libraries, and technologies for both native (iOS/Android) and hybrid solutions.
Define key components, modules, and their interactions while ensuring
scalability, maintainability, and alignment with the overall software
ecosystem. Collaborate with architects and technical leads to align mobile
solutions with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
2. Requirements & Development: Work closely with product owners,
UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements,
translating them into technical solutions. Create and maintain technical
documentation, including architectural diagrams and development guidelines.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code while ensuring adherence
to industry standards and best practices.
3. Code Quality & Security: Conduct code reviews, enforce best
practices, and ensure compliance with mobile development standards, security
protocols, and accessibility guidelines. Implement security measures, including
encryption, authentication, and secure API integrations, to protect user data
and ensure regulatory compliance. Stay up to date with security vulnerabilities
and emerging threats in mobile development.
4. Performance & Scalability: Optimize mobile applications for
performance, battery efficiency, and responsiveness. Identify and address
performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and latency issues. Work closely with
DevOps and infrastructure teams to define deployment strategies, monitoring
solutions, and best practices for ensuring high availability and scalability.
5. Project Support & Collaboration: Provide accurate estimates for
development efforts and collaborate with project managers to define project
scope, timelines, and risks. Actively participate in Agile development
processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development and
post-release.
6. Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging mobile
technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive continuous improvement and
innovation. Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance user
experience, improve development efficiency, or address business needs. Lead proof-of-concept
initiatives to assess the viability of new solutions and methodologies.
7. Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level developers,
providing technical guidance and best practices for mobile development. Foster
a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the
development team. Advocate for mobile development excellence and contribute to
defining engineering standards and practices across the organization.

· 5 years’ Experience as a Senior Engineer,
Software (Mobile)
· 5 years’ Experience performing application
reviews as it relates to quality, performance, security, and compliance.
· 5 years’ Experience with DevOps /Automation
tools and practices.
· 5 years’ Experience identifying, investigating,
and resolving recurring or major IT issues.
· 5 years’ Experience coordinating and managing
changes to IT Systems and infrastructure, ensuring changes are implemented
smoothly.
· 5 years’ Experience with Native and Hybrid
Mobile Technologies. Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS development and
Kotlin/Java for Android development. Experience with hybrid frameworks such as
React Native or Flutter for cross-platform development. Familiarity with HTML5,
CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript for mobile web development.
· 5 years Mobile Application Deployment &
Analytics. Hands-on experience with mobile analytics tools (e.g., Firebase,
Google Analytics, Mixpanel). Expertise in deploying and managing mobile
applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including compliance
with their policies and guidelines.
· 5 years Mobile SDK Development & API
Integration. Skilled in designing and developing mobile SDKs and integrating
applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services. Experience
working with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication protocols for secure API
interactions.
· 5 years Mobile Security & Performance
Optimization. Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, including
data encryption, secure storage, and biometric authentication. Experience
optimizing mobile applications for performance, battery efficiency, and memory
management.
· 5 years Multi-Platform Development Frameworks.
Experience with at least one mobile development framework (e.g., Xamarin,
Flutter, React Native) for targeting multiple operating systems. Knowledge of
platform-specific UI/UX guidelines (Material Design for Android, Human
Interface Guidelines for iOS).
· 5 years Object-Oriented Programming &
Software Architecture. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
(OOP), SOLID principles, and mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean
Architecture). Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger,
Hilt for Android, or Swinject for iOS).
· 5 years’ Experience in collaborating within
large projects.
· 5 years’ Experience in ITIL and IT project
management via various SDLCs (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.)
· 5 years’ Experience formally leading multiple
projects until delivery of software
