3Core Systems is looking for a Project Manager 3 / Technical Project Manager for one of our clients in Austin, TX

Role: Project Manager 3 / Technical Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX, Onsite
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for maintaining coordination across numerous related initiatives and leading special projects as assigned by agency leadership.
• These responsibilities include: developing project management tools; maintaining project management data on critical and major projects; reporting progress on key projects to executive/senior staff; providing recommendations regarding project management practices to agency leadership; and reporting the status of key projects and accomplishments.

Required Skills:

• 8 Years of experience required. Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues.
• 8 Years of experience requiredAbility to develop and deliver reports identifying gaps in technology and operational effectiveness.
• 8 Years of experience required, Skilled in project management of multiple projects with experience in implementing across large organizations to include developing
• 8 Years of experience requiredManaging project plans and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.
• 8 Years of experience required, Skilled in effectively mapping business processes and identifying process improvements, and skilled in planning and facilitating meetings and group problem solving
• 8 Years of experience required. Develops or contributes to the development of statements of work, project charters, design documentation, test plans, risk assessments, project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates and projections.
• 8 Years of experience required. Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills, and strong teamwork skills.
• 1 year of experience preferred. Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal), and conduct regular project team status meetings. Compiles and distributes project information, project status reports, and budget
• 1 year of experience preferred. Experience developing written materials, including briefing documents, administrative reports, and PowerPoint presentations, for diverse audiences, including senior and executive management
