Our client, 3CDC, is searching for a Director of Commercial Leasing to lead the strategy, growth, and execution of leasing efforts across one of the most impactful real estate portfolios in Cincinnati. This is not a traditional brokerage role. They are looking for someone who understands how to build neighborhoods, curate experiences, and bring the right businesses into the right spaces to create long-term community success.
This role will oversee leasing strategy for a diverse portfolio of retail, office, and restaurant spaces while leading a collaborative leasing team focused on occupancy growth, tenant retention, and long-term property performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead day-to-day commercial leasing operations across retail, office, and food & beverage assets
- Develop and mentor the commercial leasing team while driving accountability and performance
- Build relationships throughout the Cincinnati business community, broker network, and entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Identify and secure new tenants through creative outreach and relationship building
- Negotiate lease terms, renewals, amendments, and expansions
- Analyze leasing performance, vacancy trends, and pipeline activity to improve portfolio performance
- Partner with marketing, development, construction, and property management teams to support successful tenant launches
- Help curate a strong tenant mix that supports long-term neighborhood success — not simply filling vacancies
- Represent the organization at networking events, community functions, and industry events
What They’re Looking For
- 5 years of commercial leasing experience within office, retail, industrial, hospitality, or related sectors
- Strong negotiation skills and proven success closing complex deals
- Someone highly connected within the Cincinnati market who understands the local business landscape
- A relationship-driven professional who thrives in networking environments and can think strategically about placemaking and community impact
- Experience building teams, developing people, and influencing others
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze leasing trends, financials, and market opportunities
- Experience with CRM or property management systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field required
