What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Mason / Form Carpenter, Commercial & Industrial position at 3C's Concrete Work, LLC?
Concrete Mason / Form Carpenter: Full-Time
3C's Concrete Work LLC: Calvert City / Paducah, KY (Western Kentucky)
The Opportunity
3C's Concrete Work is growing our field crew, and we're looking for a Concrete Mason and Form Carpenter who takes pride in the finished product. Our projects are commercial and industrial work across Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, and Western Tennessee: site development, foundations, slabs, roadways, and heavy structural concrete.
Versatility is what we value most. If your strength is finishing, we'll help you sharpen your formwork. If your strength is formwork, we'll help you master the finish. Both paths lead to Crew Lead roles for the people who earn it.
Pay: Up to $48.89 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
What You'll Do
- Handle all phases of concrete placement: setting wood and metal forms, pouring, and finishing.
- Execute professional finishes on commercial slabs, foundations, sidewalks, and curbs: broom, mag, steel-trowel, and edging.
- Run power trowels and specialized finishing equipment.
- Set complex forms for commercial and industrial foundations and site work.
- Hold accurate grades and drainage with lasers and levels.
- Handle the final details (saw-cutting, sealing, and site cleanup) to our standard, not just "good enough."
What We're Looking For
- Experience: A proven background in concrete finishing, form carpentry, or both.
- Stamina: The physical ability to handle outdoor construction work, including lifting 50–80 lbs.
- Reliability: Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Detail: Someone who cares about the final look and follows safety protocols without being reminded.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to cross-train. If you're strong in one area, we want to help you master the other, and Crew Lead openings go to high performers.
Why Join 3C's?
We take care of our people. This is a career, not a job, with a family-led company rooted in faith, humility, and accountability. What we call "Christ, Craig, and Contracts."
- Reliable income: weekly pay with regular overtime opportunities.
- Future planning: SIMPLE IRA with a 3% company match.
- Time off: paid vacation and paid holidays.
- Stability: year-round work on a consistent daytime schedule, mainly Monday through Friday, with early mornings on pour days.
