Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager located in Paterson, NJ. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, including stock and inventory control, supervising employees, and ensuring an efficient workflow. Additional responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, operating equipment when necessary, and assisting with inventory management. This role also requires direct collaboration with the operations team to maintain smooth supply chain processes and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Stock Control and Inventory Control techniques to ensure accurate tracking and management of goods.
• Experience in Operations Management to oversee daily activities and support an efficient warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and manage other equipment commonly used in warehouse operations.
• Strong skills in Inventory Management, including cycle counting and reconciliation techniques, to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities to support and motivate staff while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and adapt to dynamic priorities.
• Previous experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain roles is highly desirable.
