Assignment Details

• Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours/Week: 36 scheduled, 24 guaranteed
• Shifts per Week: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirements: To be determined by facility

Position Summary

We are seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week contract on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of current Med Surg experience, valid and active Arizona or compact RN license, and be prepared to float between departments based on clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients in a Med Surg unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare teams
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care outcomes
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 24 months of current Med Surg experience – Required
• License: Active AZ or compact RN license at the time of submission – Required
• Certifications:
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• Travel Experience: Preferred
• No license hits or background issues – Required
• Flu Vaccine: Required (declination forms available if needed)
• Must be willing to float to other Med Surg or related units based on experience
