Position- Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location- Bryan, TX, 77802-2544
Shift- Rotating 5x8 hours
Shift Notes: 8hr rotating shift (usually starts 0700) required call, EOW, First to Float between Bryan and College Station Campus
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay - $2100 - $2600 weekly

Profiles go directly to the unit for consideration Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. First to Float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as needed Special Information: Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination Department: Radiology - NUC MED General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT (MR) or NMTCB (Nuclear Med Tech Cert Board) & any other specialty certification requirements? ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) MRT How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Currently 1, 1 in process of being replaced should be a total of 2 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Yes, we also cover the College Station Campus Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, DAT scans Experience or 'Must have' skills No special skills outside IV starts Average # of scans/studies per day 12 (cardiac = 2) EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Meditech Fuji Synapse PACS NMIS Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens Symbia T6 Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Kim Davis Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? In house until 5pm, remote read until midnight Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes Shifts & Scheduling Shift will rotate, it will be 40 hours per week Weekend Requirement Yes Holiday Requirement Yes Call or Standby requirement? Yes on call is required Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Black scrubs Department specific orientation Yes
